packages. It explains the integrated approach of the Design Database package network
system sizing the range of pipe and duct design programs within the Mechanical Designer
package.
Electrical Design Course
This course is aimed at the new Hevacomp user and covers the basic computer concepts as
well as the electrical design programs within the Electrical Designer package, with
emphasis on the lighting suite of programs and on the 16th Edition cable sizing program.
This course includes a number of exercises covering the above programs including a cable
sizing exercise highlighting common problems in achieving compliance.
AutoCAD BSL Course
This course covers the insertion of symbols and the creation of pipework and ductwork
systems in both 2D and 3D. BSL's powerful facilities to design parametric blocks will also
be explored. The course covers the various utilities for creating sections, saving
user-defined blocks and customising the BSL package.
ME Introduction CAD Course
This course covers the different ways of defining the project rooms. The room information
is then used to produce loads calculations. It also covers an overview off all ME modules.
ME Mechanical CAD Course
This course covers the design of the mechanical services. It covers the Duct and Heating
services design. The course assumes a basic knowledge of how to set-up a ME project rooms
database.
ME Electrical CAD Course
This course covers the design of the electrical services. It covers the Lighting and
Electrical design. The course assumes a basic knowledge of how to set-up a ME project
rooms database.
The need for training
Learning to use software to its full potential
can be a time-consuming and therefore expensive business. How often are you confronted
with a situation in which you know that the software is able to perform the design
analysis you are looking for, but cannot find an efficient way of performing the task?
Hevacomp training will not only cover the technical basis for the programs, but it will
also cover significant elements of practical workshop exercises, thus realising the
software's full potential.
Our courses reinforce the technical knowledge
of the engineer as well as showing new approaches to design solutions. The outcome is a
better understanding and greater appreciation of your computing facilities and the
services you are able to offer your clients.
We offer a full range of courses from
introductory to advanced, which means we can take you progressively through the learning
process.
We minimise the formal lectures to maximise
the hands-on experience.
Course notes are provided on all courses,
acting as both references and interactive guide, requiring user input to record results
from workshop exercises.
The benefits of Hevacomp training
